shouldnt need centering...it should go onto a lip on the water pump...also depends if you need to use spacers or not....cant remember which models need the spacer as pump kits are universal...maybe if you have teh spacer fitted remove it and see if it sits right

No spacer. Must be just enough in the bolt holes to miss align it.

Nice same as my old car keep it up

Cheers mate.

Hi mate
there is a a 2 or 3mm lip on the water pumps impeller pulley that the belt pulley sits on,its a very tight fit so its possible you havnt got the drive pull fully seated

Woz, It's a Master part pump so I doubt it has said lip.

In other news, have been building the L67 while the missus watches Big Brother.
Need to find where this part goes.

I then need to buy a tough mount, RH engine mount, push rods and rockers, t5.

It bolts up to the back of your drivers side head. Plug should be back there to.

This one?
MasterPart Water Pump SP64743
yep it has a lip its there to make certain the pulley runs true...on latter models they use a spacer plate as the center hole in the pulley is smaller and locates on the snout of the water pump....anyway if the pulley isnt running true it will flog the water pump bearing in no time...two things can happen one the pulley is a tight fit and isnt sitting on the lip, or at some time the bolts have sheared an pulley has spun and been gouged out making the fit to loose..
