Just chucking some picture up of my VT that I got passed down to me, not in the best of condition but i'll get it there sooner or later.. Screenshot_2012-12-01-12-31-18.png Screenshot_2012-12-01-12-30-58.png Screenshot_2012-12-01-12-31-21.png Screenshot_2012-12-01-12-31-24.png Screenshot_2012-12-01-12-31-30.png Screenshot_2012-12-01-12-31-27.png

    - Couple of dents on the front right hand side, bonnet and small ones on places, paints fading/no clear coat.
    - Power steering has a minor leak, need to get it fixed but it's fine for now.
    - Boot garnish leaks water...
    - Few interior things are old/broken (gear shifter button no longer stays down.)
    - Cruise control no longer works (unsure why)
    - Cigarette lighter not working.
    - Struggles to start occasionally but starts first time all the time.
    - Gutter rash like crazy on the rims.
    - Window wipers do nothing... been told it's not the blades.
    - Only one side of the two front seats recline when winding...

Probably a few other small things but all of it is nothing to really worry about..

I'm from Adelaide so if anyone knows of some decent places to get these things fixed on the cheaper side it'd be great..

    Future changes I want:

    - VX Bootlid
    - Lowered slightly
    - VX or monaro rear lights..

    Unsure about the rest.

(Got the car for $130 so i'm not complaining)

Congrats man, pretty good for $130!

Mate a few of those problems sound like a few easy replacements.

But seeing as this car was $130 I'd probably be looking at getting the main stuff like engine, transmission, etc. checked out for any developing problems before sinking any money into it on superficial or small problems.

Gotta love when mum get's a new car.

    Mileage: just hit 210000.

Deffinatly will be getting the engine running sweet and break and everything done before i worry about dents or paint of anything, a good running car is better than a good looking but not working car haha.

    Thanks everyone :)

210,000 on a 99 VT exec and all he could find was a power steering leak?

Either he's missed a few things or it's been well taken care of. I'm hoping for your sake it's been taken care of! Congrats again.
