So here it is! My new 2003 VY Calais with 90000kms on the clock.

So far this is my to do list in order of priority based on affordability:
20% tint
Audio re-vamp: head unit with steering wheel control initially, then later front splits with sound deading in the doors, a custom sub enclosure and amp
Lowered
Catback system, maybe headers? depending on cost Vs power gains..
chipped and tuned maybe? Depends on above....

So nothing major, just enough for it to stand out against a stockie when i line up against one.

Any thoughts on other low budget mods??:w00t::yeah::w00t:

Another example of why the VY/VZ Calais are the best cars holden ever built. Interior looks hot. Maybe get it lowered, throw some rims on it (no chrome), tint it for sure and some VZ calais tail lights. That'll make it look awesome...er

The tint went up yesterday, and to quote my sister: "it looks hot!!" -she's got a point.

i'm thinking that after i lower it, i'll go about getting some LED side mirrors that match the shape of the vy, then maybe a sports binnacle for the dash :yeah:

What type of vz lights were you thinking of duk13y? I already have VYII tail lights (thanks to the previous owner:dance:), if i was going to upgrade i was thinking i'd look into LEDs...you thoughts? Also what's put you off chrome?

Beautiful car there mate. Series 1 wheels are pox IMO so a nice set of rims would help with the look.

Thats interesting. I never realised how different the interior was from VY to VZ. Nice car mate.
