Holden VE Calais Sportwagon
My 2009 Holden Calais Sportwagon with a twist ;-)

Hi all,

fairly new here and new to Holden's itself. Anyways I purcahsed in Feb 2012 my first Holden and its a 2009 Calais Sportwagon.
Pretty bog stock. came with the factory roof racks, rear roof mounted screen, & sat nav. Needed a wagon as I got 2 little ones so wanted something with good interior space and boot while still looking good which is why I went for the Sportwagon as Ford has disappointed on not having anything as nice looking.

Since purchasing it all I have done so far is change most of the lighting to LED or HID.

Here are some pics:

LED Number plate lights & parker lights (They are white...poor lighting photo)

Got a few mods in mind but nothing much as i still want it practical for me so maybe wheels, suspension and some quad tips but we shall see how all goes.

cheers

got my hands on some lowered King springs from voorhees from here when he removed them from his wagon. Also got my hands on a few other bits and pieces...so this is how my wagon looks now:

yes...its missing the grill....still trying to get my hands on one to mod and put on oh and i debadged the rear :)

Didnt go for the rear bar as I couldnt justify how little of a change it was to mine so going to leave it as it is.

once the grill is sorted plans are to maybe add some chrome edging like the series 2 VE's just to get back abit more of it being a Calais. Trying to get some AFM mufflers for the rear and possible paint my calipers.

any other "cheap" mods/add-on suggestions please fire away. No performance mods. its my family wagon and would prob go for a 8 next time round so all looks for this one.

cheers
