My 5.0 looks different?

I recently bought a 1999 vs 5.0 manual. After looking at other 5.0 vs engines ive noticed mine looks different. I couldnt find much information about different models of 5000i engines so im here to ask you guys.
Also how do i upload pics?

Looks different how? Does it have the VT style covers on top?

Yeah its more flat and rounded than the square engine cover im used to. Would the late build date of 1999 have anything to do with it?

Thats the one. I thought that engines debut was in the vt, i was suprised to see it in a vs

dude someone just changed the engine covers................. VT covers fits all 5Ls from VN onwards.

Some VSIII models had the Holden VT engine installed. What's your engine number? VT engine numbers are prefixed by "VM".

Its raining outside so im not gona check but its a series 3 and 1999 model so it's possible
