i was hoping can you or anyone tell me ,does the 5litre vpcommodore have a thermostat air bleeding valve,as i just replaced thermostat and coolant ,and want to get any trapped air out before i drive it ,thanks any help will be greatly appreciated.

Usually the radiator is higher than the thermostat housing so there is no need for a bleed.

Just nominally fill it up, turn the heater on and go for a short drive. As it cools down it will suck coolant from the overflow reservoir, possibly even emptying it. Refill to half and go for another drive. After several cycles of this it will settle down.
