calais, i think i know what you mean. are they a cover, or are they the hub conversion ones? you get the covers on jap cars pretty often. i made a tool out of four 3mm steel belts, which i bolted together in a square via various holes to allow for different sized hubs. then fitted to the hub, then just turned by hand. it worked really well till i was lucky enough to get given the right tool. dunno if that helps ya.

nah i think its the actual nut, like how you see them on old mg's and stuff, except the mg's have two handle kinda things you use to take them off, welded something up but it just bent, f*** its on tight lol. Also need some red interior pieces. Not expecting that to be easy to find though lol. Cheers for your help

so i have done my usual thing: ask a bunch of questions, then go and do something different. i have an excuse this time. those brackets BV6 linked were 400 bucks. i scored this kit for 460...

anyone got a clue as to these pads? they off a commo?


ive been watching these kits go through for the last 2 years and they normally hit around 750, this one i sniped. wrapped. need a new master cylinder, then suss out some rear discs, then ill be stopping safely.

lol rude. sif i care.

i know i have been slack with the engine dept. i got really cold feet. im gonna change the brakes first, then i think ill fit up a t700 so its all working before the swap. the tail shaft will need a inch or two sliced off it, so if i can get it running sweet with the 327, then it should be a straight swap for the 454.

still gotta figure out all the little things with the 454 like swirl pot, fuel delivery, wiring and (stupid) a fuel tank pressure switch.

all in good time. i have work now which means ill have money, but cos' ill be working i prolly CBF working on my own car :s

nice brake upgrade, mind pm'ing me where you picked em up from? brake upgrade is deffinately needed, specially when we become 454 buddies...one day
