off track .....but I remember our 4 door 66 when I was a kid. Pillarless Fisher I think. I absolutely remember round taillights with pointed lenses as well as the rectangle ones maybe (red? I think but how many?). Is my memory correct?

no, thats what makes it really hard. it feels like you are going over a corrugated road, but non stop as long as you go 100kmph. doesnt come from the front OR rear, just the whole car.

YXYX64, yeah holden fitted to round indicators to the rear 1/4 panel end pieces, i hated them so bogged over it :D

Yeah that's what I was wondering next. Spoke to a rep from Central Diffs today at the show and he reckoned the vibration was purely because it is lowered. His words "I'd be happy to swap out your axles and center, but it won't do **** for the vibration..."

It may be a case of getting adjustable upper arms for the diff to level out the rear yoke
