:) thanks man, im just googling big pics of impalas and every tyime you look closely at one i am noticing more and more that panels dont line up perfect on them either :p so i think im gonna start chillin' out trying to get everything perfect. anyways, i am gonna blow some pics in from my google searches:
    http://musclecargarageusa.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Impala-Angle-Rear.jpg

if you look at this one, the guy has basically bogged up the entire lip on the quarter panel, which means he was able to get it much flatter than i could due to needing to sand at retarded sizes and angles. i am seriously considering doin this:
    http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj99/nitrousnick68/wonderful662.jpg

and then check this guy out! he has totally bogged up the base of the 'bullet' thingie on the rear 1/4. so it still has the nice 'flow downwards' but doesnt look friggin gay:

Mate in my opinion I think if you're going to get it sprayed back to original colour again. Dont #### with the body lines. You've done a great job to get it where it is. It'll look spastic all filled in.
    ...Those chev mirrors are sexual...

Drove past a matte black one of these before. Thought it might have been you until I got closer and saw all the ripples through the quarter and dented doors.
    Looked sexy though

ok, no updates, but a kinda "note to self". i just got back from colorado and walked out to the garage only to find that i had left my motivation somewhere in the rockies while i was snowboarding. not good. so i am writing a list of things to do over the next few days to keep the mood flowing:

bonnet hinges need to be... something. i think i am going to englarge the mounting holes to make the bonnet line up (hinges are fked and i refuse to spend any more money this year)
    front bar, same deal.
    rear bar, same deal
passenger front central locking hooked up
4 door trims replaced, handles and winders fitted.
pass side chrome wheel arch mould fitted (forgot to do it b4)
rear drivers side wheel removed and wheel arch stoneguarded

actually, that will be about it for this week i think.

if it ever actually gets on the road :(

ok, so we killed the camera in colorado somehow so while i try and fix it, gonna have to just talk about whats been done with no piccies.

so yesterday a mate came over and we got a lot of little things done:

new turn signal switch fitted (brake lights and indicators now work)
new horns and horn switch assembly
steering wheel put back on straight this time, rather than the 130 degrees out it was before
stereo fitted (looks cool will take pics later)
    fusebox fitted
drivers door switch fitted and interior light globes replaced
    front indicators fitted (new lenses)
front bar adjusted, looks wonkey still but much better than it was *shrug* doesnt affect rwc
    passenger wheel arch moulds fitted
    passenger mirror fitted
    reverse lights fitted (new lenses)
number plate light fitted (new lense)

    to do:
respray boot. (it blistered up pretty bad cos i was lazy when i did it)
    passenger front door handle fit
fit central locking on passenger front/rear doors
fit door cards, window winders etc to all doors
fit passenger door switch/interior light globe/new lense
fit front seatbelts (dont need to but gonna do it anyway)
    fabricated new fan shroud
figure out some kind of wiper squirter that doesnt look gay
find an overflow bottle of some kind
    buy new hood hinges/springs
    carpet passenger side boot trim
    fit subwoofer amplifier
    replace rear shock absorbers
    replace transmission pan gasket
    bleed brakes properley
remove rear wheels and seal up missed areas with stone guard
replace passenger side high beam globe
    repair/paint B pillar cap-thingies

and atm that sounds like everything to get her rwc.
