blah. dont know what to do now. stripped down the T700 and all the forward clutches are fragged, not just 3-4. i can replace the frictions and smash the T700 drum into the 4l60e along with the beast sunshell, servo's and 13 vein pump. but its really just sticking a band aid on a broken arm. i mean, itll improve it, no doubt, but there is so much more involved in the rebuild to check/change that im thinking it should be done by a pro.

seeing as fluffy revs out to 6500 now, im guessing [read: hoping] that ive reached my 454hp target. thats a chunk of hp to run through a semi-dead trans.

booking made for monday 3pm at the tuner for a touch up tune, and since the trans is in and working, im wondering if i just run with it. rather than wasting time with a half-rebuild. and get a proper job afterwards.

what are peoples serious thoughts on the subject?

fkit, drive it, save pennies for a full rebuild and wait til it breaks or til youve had a month or 2 of pure fun driving it

Agree with Hak on this one. Although I would do as much as possible to baby the trans until I had the coin for a rebuild then go nuts on it till you end its life in a orgasmic explosion of gears and oil that any gearbox slung behind a 454 deserves.
