thanks fellas. I wouldn't say I'm "back" as such, more like I have internet access again after a long while. I decided to drop off the face of the planet for a bit to get my bearings on life again, as it happens I just ended up working at a mechanics workshop in broome. but I'm only here for a few more months to ride out the wet season. once all the gorges/attractions reopen I'm gonna take my HJ47 landcruiser and continue around till I get back to Melbourne.

there may or may not be a new thread about a HJ47 appearing. still undecided on how far I'm going to go with it, but I can say it is equally as rusty as the impala was when I started. guess I just have a thing for broken cars.
