Last few days have been ummm fun..... * Remote died, 2nd one has full battery but worn badly, new one $149 * Found out my front bushes needed replacing gunna cost $320
Got plenty of quotes today from across western sydney and this is the best package deal i got... 18" Speedy Wheels Circuit RS Blue with New Tyres. Lowering FRONT 1 1/2" REAR 2". Light Service (full car check) but change oil only. as a package if it gets done at the same time: $2065
Photo 1 & 2, parked on front lawn Photo 3; the day i bought it Photo 4; after travelling to Mudgee and back
Looks the goods mate. Definitely need to bring her down to earth. Post pics when lowered and mags man.
Hi Big E, it will be dropped, Sept 6th when its booked in for.. 2" on front and back with King Springs with wheel alignment 18" Speedy Wheels Circuit RS Blue with Achillis 235/40/R18's with balance also in the same package i'm getting all front/rear bushes replaced (really need the Castor bushes replaced they are bad lol) also getting a minor service just replacing engine oil, oil filter, and just a general check of all other main points on the car. not bad for about 2 1/2K
Sounds good mate. Might I suggest getting a whiteline strut brace. I recently installed one on my Ss and it made a huge difference to body roll. That with all Your suspension goodies would have your car rolling like a treat.
no idea what a whiteline strut brace is, but the wonders of Google should keep me out of trouble for the next half hour. At the moment the car controls like a semi-trailer with the castor bushes screwed on the front so its going to feel like a new car in 4 weeks
found plenty of info on the product, i will see how the car feels after all the work is done is September then i might follow it up more..
CURRENTLY AFTER: Electric Blue metallic spray paint for Brake calipers if anyone can help steer me in the right direction or has seen this product/knows someone who has used this could they drop me a PM it would be much apreciated! Nathan.
Does anyone know where i could find these? BUT! with a digital clock and temp guage instead of voltage guages etc. http://forums.justcommodores.com.au...d1313314023-gouldinator1s-sv6-vzsv6_dial1.jpg (photo taken from Gouldinator1's SV6 car thread)
They are wired to the car mate Car looks good, esp for a first car! You may find it hard getting metallic paint for your calipers as you usually use engine enamel paint so that it can withstand the heat and I dont think Ive ever seen engine enamel in metallic. I stand to be corrected though. lol
Thank you, i am finding it hard to find any in metallic so might have to go for my 2nd option with is yellow, but not sure how that will look with black and electric blue wheels. might have too hit up the photoshop thread and see. i'm sure dupli-colour Anodized metallic blue will be strong enough for the engine cover anyway, if i put a high temp silver base on then the anodized elect blue followed by high temp clear coat i got a fire extingsher in the boot just in case lol.
