My Brother's VL SL

Hey all,

Just thought I'd post up some pics and details of my brother's VL. He's had it for just on 11years now & I've been trying to buy it off him for the last 7 lol...

Being an ex-cop car it has 4-Wheel Disc brakes & LSD aswell an extra hole here and there... Basically in the last couple of years it's had the gearbox rebuilt & entire top-end of the motor rebuilt. Car is in great mechanical condition..

Basically the downsides for the car are the usual VL faults, Fading paint & rust in the front cowel panel...

Gearbox: 4-speed Auto
Wheels: 15x7 Interceptors
Diff: LSD (unsure of ratio)
Brakes: 4-Wheel Disc Brakes
Air Intake: K&N Flat Panel
Stereo: - JVC headunit
- JVC 4" in the dash
- Kenwood 6x9's
- 12" Alpine Type S Sub

When the car was in getting the top end re-done...

Update: my brother still has the car, unfortunately it hasn't been registered in 3-4 years now & has a badly slipping auto.

I doubt he could ever part with it, so I hope he holds onto until his kids are older & he can sink some cash into it to cruise it around as a 5L.

It's currently rolling around on my old VY SS rims

Ive since bought this car from Richies brother and setting on putting it back on the road.
Have pulled out the RB30 and auto and purchased a smashed R33 skyline to strip its running gear. the vl will receive the manual rb25 engine and box in the coming months and plan to have it together and running before power cruise 2018. will upload a couple pics for you guys shortly

removed the battery box and started to clean up the rust.
