So this is my first v8! I have been saving for a while and got my full licence last Tuesday and picked this up last night. I originally wanted a Calais but couldn't find one after looking for months so decided to get an SS as there was more of them for sale. This popped up on gumtree last week and I had to look at it.

Body is in mint condition minus a few chips and some bubble on the mirrors. Interior is in perfect condition except a hole in one of the floor mats, even the pocket below the head unit works!
Engine is great just rear main is slightly leaking but that is very common on these, needs a new steering rack soon as it is leaking quite badly and have to change the oil. Other than that everything works and its in good condition :)
The guy wanted $7500 for it but I got him down to $6700 which is a steal imo considering the condition and the low K's.
Came with all the books/owners manuals etc, receipts from every service its ever had, receipts for exhaust system.
Was serviced at 136k and everything was checked, few things replaced.
Came with a Dyno sheet from 2010 where it made 201rwkw.

Probably going to leave the stock rims on it so its a bit more subtle as im quite young to be driving an 8

FUTURE MODS: OTR CAI, maybe a cam one day if I do keep it
Might look at getting a different exhaust system as the current one drones a bit so it might be a cheapy brand.
Might change the dash lights to White/Blue
Keeping it fairly stock to avoid unwanted attention

Things I don't like: Its a series 1 so it has the grey interior rather than the black of the series 2 which I prefer but with this many K's, good condition and perfect service history at this price I would have been stupid not to buy it.
Then theres the awful green interior lights, god knows why Holden went with green its awful but obviously I can change it if I want :)

Overall im happy with it and all I want to do is drive around :)
