    I'm not saying I do or don't believe the OP, that's none of my business, you really need to use MS Word before posting though as every 5th word is spelled incorrectly.

    If I was 16 I would be spending more time in English class and less time buying and selling cars.

    None the less looks awesome mate, great to see a GTS-R reborn (even if it isn't 100% genuine) it still looks awesome......love the steering wheel, wanted one for mine for ages but gave up when I saw how much they were going for online.

    Just so you know, Not one piece of your interior apart from maybe a dash badge is legit GTS-R.

    Heres some helpful pics towards your restoration to see what you need to do with the interior and body:

    Some shots of the console, dash, seats, door trims, carbon fibre skirts, carbon fibre bumper, brakes, carbon fibre centre caps etc. (Including a photo of the proper mounting location for the spoiler)

    Nice car mate, im blown away the fact that you have bought 3-4 cars in this year for your first car. Other then that wow from the talk thats going on.
    Ive always loved the GTS-R good luck in bringing it back

    ****, looking at those photos, i'd have to say he's probably missing the most critical part of a GTSR that would be near on impossible to get back to an original state these days. All the rest of the car could be replicated quiet easily IMO, but that interior would be hard work.

    Yeah its got gts seats.. I will have to get them trimmed one day i love the yellow! Nah it dont have the console i asked the guy he said he threw it cause it was cracked and snapped... I would have fixed it :/

    The seats ?

    I want to get them trimmed in the gts-r mettirial! But its just going to be a tough street car! Not a show car!

    Dark window tint will fix the interior :p

    If you post up the bodies VIN Number & The motors engine number

    You'll be able to figure out what that shell was before it was made into a Mock up, An you can also find out if that motor is genuine or just engine covers.

    P.S- What annoys me the most in your car is the fact that the rear spoiler is in the wrong location & the bonnet badge is also in the wrong spot.

    IMO I wouldn't get to hung up on making EXACTLY the same as a GTS-R. Make it you own. I think these are the right seats, But you know those statesmen leather seats? They look horn I reackon. would suit this car :)


    Didn't HSV engine have knock sensors? that might give him some indication as to what the motor is.

    For as long as I can remember you can buy knock sensors off eBay with a tune for like $100. That ol' trick to check the motor has been useless for many many many years.

    Its a december 1994 vr acclaim i will do a decode soon!

    As for the engine on the rego papers it says engine capacity 5700cc so yeah its the real deal :)

    I will have to look into the wing position.. And i am getting a nos gtsr badge for the bonnet the yellow has faded to white :/

    The vn clubby i had had 1 nock sensor the the passengers side near the extractor.

    Yeah good enough for a street car tho i think its tough!!!

    Yeah the bonnet badge is going it was yellow but its faded white... I will buy the one of ebay the nos ones.. I will look into the wing.
