A tiny little up date.
Following something I read on another site I modified and fitted H9 high beam globes into my low beam projector lights replacing the std H11's.
Now the low beams are more white instead of yellow and when both low and high beams are on they are the same brightness just aiming in their different patterns.
This pic shows how with the high bem on the new H9 globe on left (drivers) is much brighter than the old H11 globe on right.

And this shows with all lights fitted with H9 globes.

Absolutely awesome looking car. If I didn't have my VL Berlina Turbo, I would probably have a Senator as its luxury and power....what more could you want.

I just did the mod of the headlight bulb also. Putting the H9 in the H11 spot. Its so bright on low beam now. Thats because a standard H11 low beam bulb is 1350 lumens, and the standard H9 is 2100 lumens. Even when you buy plus 80% or plus 90% globes, I found out that it doesn't mean it adds 90% of the total light output. A plus 90% globe I purchased only made the 1350 lumen H11 go up to approx 1450 lumens. The H9 of 2100 lumen in the low beam is awesome and recommended to anybody. PM me if you don't know how to do it and I will send you pics and description or a link to another site.

Sorry about the long post. Im just happy with such a little mod with the lights giving such a big improvement. I won't have to go HID's now.

Once again, awesome car.

Isn't the wattage different between H9 & H11?
Low beams should be 55/60w, if the bulb is a twin filament.

Projector headlights only have single element globe in each of the low and high beam lights.
So you just fit the high beam globe into the low beam projector, cut off is still the same but much brighter.

Latest modification is the addition of Yella Terra 1.8 roller rockers, so easy on an LS engine.
The whole process took a bit over an hour, top of head was so clean not a sign of burnt oil.
The old rockers
