Driving into work this morning, and the My Link screen suddenly goes black and switches off. I pressed the power button and it came back to life, but all the radio presets had been wiped. Still remembered all my other settings though. This happened to anyone else? My car is a VF2 2017 SSV Redline.

Thanks.

Did I just see this on FB? Yes they tend to reboot occasionally. The MY14 sometimes didn't like a CD that I had in it and alsways rebooted. The MY 17 has done it twice in 18 months but I haven't lost the radio presets.

you can change the color from red to blue or blue to red...

it just requires you to change out the main part of the unit(not screen) to one that's the other color.
lower spec models have blue
upper spec have red

both of my sv6 vf1 were red (non sat nav)
I know the evoke is blue and the lower spec calais are blue.

its pretty stupid they don't have any theme settings I guess its just made as cheap as they can get it

Guess if VF continued user selectable themes may have been some distant 'feature' they would try and sell us in the hope we'd buy a new car ;)

On series 1 at least, the Evoke, Calais, Calais V, and Caprice V are blue themed screens with white illumination on all buttons, including the three small rotary dials/controls illumination rings.

The SV6, SS, SS-V etc have red themed screens, white button illumination, except the three small rotary dials/controls which have red illumination rings.

I wouldn't say the lower spec cars have blue screens. The Calais V which I had previously was blue and that was the flagship commodore at launch. I prefer the blue screen. And the colour would be controlled by software.
