Ok. Engine and gearbox back in. How do you get engine mounts in? Is there a trick to them?

Are they on the block?, if they are loosen one side off abit lower it in and then tighten it back up, or take it off and put it back on when its in the car. Just keep having a play it will get on there, make sure you dont use anything to push on the thread and strip it or it will be harder getting the nuts on.

Did you chrome the Window surrounds yourself? i did the same to my old ones but then i sold them and bought some VP calais ones with the chrome.
Nice work you are doing on the car, i have the same interior i love it, just gotta fit the doors with Power windows and the trims.

Keep up the good work.

Sorry for the real late reply. Brought the car like it is. Everything is all bolted in now. Just need to get the wiring done.

Don't do a manual conversion for a Calais.. It's ment to be a luxury car not a thrashing machine.. Just my 2 cents.
Oh the roof looks wicked too dude

Nice work so far. I'd have hidden the wiring for OCD neatness, and not done the T5 though :)

I love a nice VN project. Take good care of it, they're starting to get rare now! (nice ones are certainly a rarity)
