Hey guys,

Names Lex. New to this and just bought a new VE SSV 2010 mod, 17000kms already put 3000 on it lol but yeah, my first Commy ever! Just browsing through looking at peoples mods etc and getting ideas.

Just wanna get an exhaust, extractors and a tune done for now.

Any ideas, advice etc welcome.

Cheers.

Welcome
First thing I would do and I know u haven't mentioned it but get yourself vcm Otr, u can still keep ur maf in place till u get it tuned. For exhaust I would just go xforce 2 1/2 cat back loud version and 1 3/4 xforce extractors and hi flow cats. That's what I would do

I second the VCM OTR, very very nice intake which brings very good results!

As for exhaust system, everyone will tell you something different, depends what you want.
If you're after all out noise, Xforce is probably the way to go. However, if you want to avoid drone save your money for a system such as the VCM, KPM, DiFillipo, there are a few other good brands out there.

I have recently had a VCM OTR, VCM 3inch catback and tune done to my SSV, money very well spent! (glad I didn't go cheap either)

Been a 2010 it will have active fuel management might want to get that turned off in the tune if you are going to put a exhaust on they tend to drone a lot when it switches down to 4cyl mode

Thanks mate. A mate of mine has just got his VZ SS supercharged and his motor rebuilt so I've been with him throughout the whole process and he's always had commy's I was just too much of a pansy to get one seeing as I was into "Hair Dressers Cars" lol. Btw, sold my is300 just so I could get this! Now that I've got this, I shouldve gotten into Commys ages ago!
