My SV6 Ute

Hi there,
I've been a member on here for a while now, however I haven't had much contribution to the forum. I thought I would change that by showing off my pride and joy.
I saved my arse off to get this car, I had a VT for a few months and upgraded to the Ute just before Series 2 came out.

how much were the sports bars?
are the factory or aftermarket?

To be honest I can't remember how much the sports bars set me back. They are factory though.
If you go off the prices on the Holden website it's $1500 for the sports bars and modified tonneau, don't hold me to it, but I think I payed around $1000 for both, but as I said before, can't remember exact prices.

Yes, I will get a V8, and I can't wait to finally get one!
I've driven lots of V8's through work, can't wait to own one myself.
But the new 6's do go alright for what they are

I fitted a CAI to the car yesterday, it's VCM CAI, which is for the V8's.

The only modification needed to make it fit was custom MAF housing, which me and a mate made out of some PVC pipe.

The end result I must say is great, at 3000rpm the car just pulls real hard, and the induction noise is fantastic!
