lol, looks like you just sawed through that axle. i take it youll be ditching the diff to lighten the load? hooking up some sort of brake system?

also with that hard lid it might just be a case of ripping off the top layer of damaged fiberglass with some 40 grit discs, and doing some bog skims over it to fix it up...

Yeah, I'd ditch the whole diff, you just need to make up a plate to tie the subframe to the rear mount. Would save a bit of weight and you can probably sell the diff.

Am planning on ditching the diff, it never had one and I didn't have a measurement to allow me to make a bracket to tie it all together. I had a rear cradle with a diff in it sitting and the hex bolts wouldn't undo so I cut the cvs, it's one of the next jobs on the list.
