My VZ Calais is on SL Monroe shocks with 20s. Will be putting a camber kit in, most definitely needs it. I would say ignore anyone who says they won't need a camber kit on super lows.

My VZ calais is slightly lower than the the photos of yours with no camber kit I've got no abnormal tyre wear issues.

Yea it has little bit more of camber and toe but I still get 40-50k out of a set of tyres.

when you first lowered your calais did your front sit higher? Mines really bugging me, deciding whether I should change front springs or just wait for them to settle...

Mine sat completely flat. Yours does look a little higher at the front. They do settle a little but not much (5-10mm)

Have decided to change rear springs to lows and keep front as SL. Supplier is sweet to do it free of charge so thats cool. Looking at changing rear tyres to a thicker profile too as I want her to have a mean stance, a little old with a little new. We'll see though.

Comfort and practicality over looks bruv. Played with bags before, real uncomfortable. Bouncy like a jack rabbit. Not to mention the cost after set up/ installation/ certs etc. A nice drop will suffice.

sounds the goods. much louder than my LS1 statesman. you probably wouldn't think mine was a V8 if you heard it at idle.

    Cheers team

Yip no cats at all, straight from extractors into 2.5" De-Cat Pipes. I have a pair of 2 chamber flowmaster style mufflers, was thinking of fitting one in to see what that'll sound like.

Hey team,a few quick questions. Im looking at upgrading performance but am kinda stuck in what direction to go. I want to keep it relatively street drivable as it probably wont see the track or strip. Is it even worth doing anything? Planning on doing OTRCAI and tune in the new year, and she has headers and exhaust already. Sholud I do the cam as well? For a street car, im under the impression that I am after low down torque so If I was to upgrade cam what size would be best? Sorry about asking cam related questions as I know this topic has been done to hell and back but I cant seem to get a straight answer from what I read, some people say do this and others say do that. Also If I was to go through with all of that, would my brakes need upgrading? Anyways, thats about it team, looking forward to responses. Cheers in advance.

most guys on here are just doing cam, lifters, top end in other words with a tune (mafless) seems to be the go
try the otr and a tune and then decide if you want to do more
