Yeah definitely mate, every little thing makes a small difference and together they make it big

Any chance of a writeup on how to do the heat shielding? or at least a brief run down of what i need for the job?

Nahh, but we have taken all the work :D

We all knew it would be closing at the start of the year as APN had already written off the entire site from the books but they had just been looking for a buyer

Update - parts

just a small update. have started accumulating parts for the new engine build.

I now have some spool H beam rods, there are some forged pistons on order from Probe industries (thanks to Steve @ MACE) and have some new stainless valves. 1.77in/ 1.5ex undercut valve stems etc

Thought i'd add some more pics of shiny bits.

the rods are spool H beam rods. standard length (6.38") and weigh in at 555grams +/- 1 gram for a matched set

also added some pics of the new valves fitted and a old set for comparison

nice looking car mate what are your plans?

cheers mate. prepping a new engine at the moment. H beam rods, forged pistons, fully balanced and blue printed, modified oiling system, fully ported heads, standard reverse mounted intake manifold (for now untill i get my hands on a US buick manifold) Raptor blower and a big hit of nitrous for giggles spinning at 7K rpm all day :D

Hi mate,

It's been a bit sad really, the car has been parked up for the most part, reg on hold etc

Fairly broke at the moment, haven't had a lot of spare cash to throw at the car, had a run of bad luck with domestic appliances, so far i've had to replace the dishwasher, the microwave, the washing machine and the TV, the last 2 this month :( (the TV ate the cash for my valves and the washing machine likewise my forged pistons)

I have some new engine mounts on the way as well as a set of alloy 20% under driven pulleys.

How you been traveling?
