Hey Guys,

I've been pressured by the boys to put up a bit of a blurb about my ride so here goes.

I got the car recently (September 2011) and have been pleasantly and thoroughly impressed by the car since I took ownership. After a recent drive to Melbourne I can happily report I've had zero problems with her (aside from a squeaky belt) - she appears to be very well taken care of by the previous owners and shes running very well.

The Shorts:
- Holden Monaro VZ CV8
- 5.7L LS1 (No Modifications)
- Black Exterior
- Red Leather Interior
- 6sp. Manual (Original, not a conversion)
- 90,000km

Future Plans
- Fully service it
- Window Tinting
- New exhaust
- Maybe new wheels too
- Minor paint touch up (Someone had the balls to egg her at some time in the past on the drivers side :()

Planning on keeping this one relatively stock, at least for a long time. It'll be nice to open her throat a little bit with an exhaust but already she turns heads and is oh so comfortable to cruise in.

I really wanted a CV8Z but the only difference aside from the wheels and lack of sunroof (which could leak anyway) is the badging - so I havent lost any sleep over it :D

Thanks for viewing! :)

Very nice, got to be happy with a well looked after coupe.
Black and 6 spd always a good starting point.

Awesome, looks great. I set out to get a black CV8 but the one I got was too good to pass up.

Cheers fellas, :)

Jester, I considered auto and I was so close to buying one - but it turns out the one I was looking at was a complete lemon (Thank god RACV!) so I dodged that bullet, then found another in auto and went to purchase that one but the guy was having a real hard time letting it go and by complete chance this one came up at a dealer near where I live so I grabbed at the opportunity :D

Thanks for all the comments guys :)

Looks pretty nice from what I've seen first hand, it goes alright too. But I think you should at least get a OTR and tune done to go with your exhaust as well. But its a very nice ride mate

Thanks again guys, appreciate it :)

Anthony, I'd love an OTR so I'm keeping my eyes out should one pop up :D
And I'm a little worried of MAFLESS tunes but I've heard their good. Ultimately, whats the most damage a MAFLESS tune can do and why?
