- 2005 VZ CV8 Monaro
Hey Guys,
I've been pressured by the boys to put up a bit of a blurb about my ride so here goes.
I got the car recently (September 2011) and have been pleasantly and thoroughly impressed by the car since I took ownership. After a recent drive to Melbourne I can happily report I've had zero problems with her (aside from a squeaky belt) - she appears to be very well taken care of by the previous owners and shes running very well.
The Shorts:
- Holden Monaro VZ CV8
- 5.7L LS1 (No Modifications)
- Black Exterior
- Red Leather Interior
- 6sp. Manual (Original, not a conversion)
- 90,000km

Future Plans
- Fully service it
- Window Tinting
- New exhaust
- Maybe new wheels too
- Minor paint touch up (Someone had the balls to egg her at some time in the past on the drivers side )
Planning on keeping this one relatively stock, at least for a long time. It'll be nice to open her throat a little bit with an exhaust but already she turns heads and is oh so comfortable to cruise in.
I really wanted a CV8Z but the only difference aside from the wheels and lack of sunroof (which could leak anyway) is the badging - so I havent lost any sleep over it
Thanks for viewing!
