Nah mate. The badge stays. All my mates know me as the guy with the chev badge and I like it (the badge that is) so I'm not going to change it for other peoples sake.

I do have a strong Holden pride but I also believe that a guy/girl can do whatever (S)HE wants to his/her car. Everyone has their own opinions.

I know what you mean about trying to make your car stand out. I can understand that.

I was thinking of a kit but decided against it. If it were just an exec or something like that then maybe but not to a Berlina. If anything, I will try to make it look a bit more like a VZ Calais (Head lights and Tails). Thats about it.

well done man nice car ;)
go with the superlows all round once your on unrestricted licence I reckon!
and 17 inch wheels are still good and tyres arent too expensive!
twin dump tips on the rear would look sweet as by the way.
A good cheap mod but effective is to replace parkers with LED wedge types, looks sweet as and only about 10 bux :)

Cheers,

Thanks mate.

I'm getting a few quotes for a single 2.5" lukey catback with center only. I thought a twin would cost to much and drone. After the catback I want some 1.9:1 rockers but insurance is an issue there considering I cant do it legally because of restrictions.

What are the LED things your talking about? Pics? Where would I buy em?

dual exhausts look cool, but a single will perform better for you on a 6

LED parkers are an instant defect

for air intake, an SS inductions kit goes very well. pod systems look nice but without a heat shield they work against you

Well there is a slight change in plans. My parents have decided that if I want the car, I have to buy it from them:bang:. Of course I can't afford it atm so i will have to pay them back over 2 years or so, depending if I can find a job. This also means that any mods I had planned are now on hold so I can save for the actual purchase of the car.

The car will still be mine, it might just take a bit longer than expected.

After some serious persuasion, I will be getting the Berlina when I'm on my Green P's but hopefully just half way through my reds. All I have to pay for is the cars insurance and rego:w00t:. All this thanks to my mum getting a job within walking distance and no need for a car any more.

They are going to buy me a manual lancer (97-2000 model), then my dad wants me to have that for about 12 months to get a feel for driving on my own, the costs involved, etc. So basically I get a manual learner car for free and I get the Berlina for free once I get my P2's. Pretty sweet deal:yeah:.
