My (soon to be) LS1 VP Calais

Hey, thought i'd share my Project.

Model: 92 VP Calais
Colour: Blue
Engine: 5.0ltr
Transmission: Auto
Exhaustacemaker Headers, 2.5 inch system
Interior: Stock
Suspension: Lowered, unsure what springs..
Wheels: 20 inch VE GTS

Initial plans were to build a 355 stroker and possibly supercharge. But, I was able to pick up a complete LS1 VT SS donor car for cheap.
Progress has been slow so far, but I have removed the 5ltr and am preparing the engine bay for the transplant.

As well as the LS1 I am also going to put the interior and factory sunroof in the VP
Still a lot of bits and pieces I have to pick up, but I am keen to get into it :driving:

Any feedback or opinions are appreciated!

Looks cool, I have an LS1 in my VP Calais you'll enjoy it a lot. You going auto or manual?

Also are u running spacers to fit the wheels?

Looks very tidy,
I reckon the LS1's are a great engine, and I can imagine how well they would go in an earlier model.

Hey mate,
The plan is to run it with an auto (4L60E), unless I can track down a 6 speed.
As for the wheels, Im not too sure if it has spacers, I bought it as is.

Yeah my thread is in need of a big update but the car isn't at a point that I wanna show off yet
