whats your cbr pull flat out? i got 183 the other day, it was so close to the limiter lol.

my new front and rear guards have not come in, so i told the local bike shop to stick them where they fit if they ever come in and i'm buying from elsewhere.

Yer, ive heard about these BRP's making bloody good tards, just the price that is the problem $1500-$2000 for a set of tards, it is a 2000 model but ill be leaving the engine alone until it starts showing problems, and with only 6000kms on it i could be waiting a while. Theres just so much torque and reliability.

my old man has a 2000 model, its probably done 35,000km's with some racing aswell (finke desert race) and its still fine.

you could probably get some cast wheels all done with disc and tyres for $1000 if you do some hard research and shop around. its pretty fun, and word has it there is going to be a killer supermoto track opening up 1 and a half hours south of adelaide very soon (tailem bend), with a dirt section. once that track opens up i'll be going over for a ride.

Yer the old Mitsubishi Testing Site has supposedly been bought out and the government is gonna turn it into a raceway area for all sorts of enthusiasts, i reckon it will be a long time before anything happens though and its more or less south eastish of Adelaide

Also what size jump did ya old man come down off of on the XR cause she looks bottomed out with their soft suspension

thats actually him just getting on the brakes for a turn on my mates track, there was momentum from another section. the suspension on that xr is amazing, so far from standard its crazy. it actually feels like a motorbike!@

so it seems. theres funny rules for dirt bikes in SA isn't there? if you're keen on the supermoto thing, join up on supermotoaus (way better than supermotojunkie haha) and theres a few 650 tards on there for ideas with conversions or things to do instead like super grippy tyres for dirt rims etc.
