Got the other side of the tailgate all done today. Also fixed a little bit of rust at the end of the gate aswell and welded up all the badge holes and some holes from the chrome mould that won't be there anymore.

The only other thing i'm thinking of doing is welding up the boot lock hole and making some sort of boot release. I'm not normally one to do external body mods, but i think filling the boot lock in would look neat.

i reckon shaving the boot lock is a good idea just makes a smoother appearance, and one less way someone can break in.

yeah agreed. without the chrome moulds it'd look a bit silly TBH. just a bit of stainless swimming in a sea of blue metallic. i vote for remove.
