love the calais lights on the ss front and the hsv garnish looks tops also[did the same to mine] just needs leather interior now
Hey mate love what you've done with the dash and the power windows in the rear got anymore pics of the dash ?
Looks real good bud. How much power is it putting out? How much difference did the maffless do over the normal tune?
This looks insane compared to what it looked like stock. Great work man. If u don't mind me asking how much did it cost for the front sensors and where did u get em done. My front sensors on my caprice have died and I want to get them fixed or replaced. Cheers Dave.
CAPRILICIOUS WL I did the sensors myself, I do Auto Electronics for a living if your after a set of aftermarket sensors let me know i can hook you up DevilDRake Not sure its not Dynoed yet, i took it to eastern creek tonight the fastest i got was a 14.9 on street tyres, but the tune makes it come alive paynetrainvy yes it is a VZ Calais dash with low spec controls i made it myself, grafted the low spec controls onto the highspec dash with plastic weld ill see if i can find some photos of when i made it
Shite you have been lurking for a few years! Looks great with the SS front and Calais lights, did you have to delete the balance shaft when doing the double row timing chain? and who did the mafless tune? Cheers
If you could that would be awesome I've been looking to do the same myself just trying to find a Calais donor dash that isn't $150.
I sure am interested man, I Alreaddy have front bar sensors but don't know why they don't work I wouldn't mind replacing them if I have to & I might also get a reverse camera as I have the option in my headunit together at the same time. Where bouts you located? Pm me and w'll discus from there. Cheers Dave.
You should get faster than that. That being said, I'll have the same except auto with 2700 stall + 3.7 gears.. Which would knock it down to low 14. Why haven't you got it dynoed? It's like $50 lol
The 3.46 gears are abit of a let down when it comes to the drags 3.7 or higher will be something that im looking forward to in the future I also have tires that im sure were made from old PVC drain pipe, they are $75 cheapies lets just say they arent the most grippy things in the world Hasnt been dynoed yet because i only finish getting it tuned a week ago Dick did the tune on the car
nice one mate definitely needs some leather now and some black roof lining. maybe an LED dash conversion too. also maybe down the track powder coat the wheels black, black+red= sex! ( mate had a red vy ss with black 20's ) lol. engine looking good to pal nice job
Forgot to post these This is the with the cam in but untuned And this is my LED dash Conversion (way before the cam work) I do agree i need a black hoodlining and some leather just been holding out until i find something decent
Now that is an impressive conversion! Well done matey, something you've done and you can be proud of, looks tops. Very interesting boot lid, lip spoiler, HSV garnish and colour coded Exec garnish... wouldn't have thought it pulled it off so well but it does. And the Calais lights look horn!
