Welcome to Just Commodores, a site specifically designed for all people who share the same passion as yourself.
I actually just mowed the lawn.If you wash them in that setting, your grass will love you more.
Thanks, the 179 & powerglide has made way for a 202 +20 thou, XU1 spec'ed 161 head, VK efi cam, VH electronic dizzy rebuilt & recurved to suit the cam, X2 headers with dual engine pipes into a 2 inch free flow muffler with a 2 inch mandrel bent system, 253 spec'ed trimatic, a pair of rebuilt 186 carbs on a genuine X2 inlet with a custom air cleaner. The HD looks beautiful, my first car was a HD Premier, trusty 179 under the bonnet the low rise bucket seats in it were like arm stairs, had it from 1975 to 1981, great memories
Good stuff. I always liked the often maligned HD. Why are you towing with the old girl though? Thanks, the 179 & powerglide has made way for a 202 +20 thou, XU1 spec'ed 161 head, VK efi cam, VH electronic dizzy rebuilt & recurved to suit the cam, X2 headers with dual engine pipes into a 2 inch free flow muffler with a 2 inch mandrel bent system, 253 spec'ed trimatic, a pair of rebuilt 186 carbs on a genuine X2 inlet with a custom air cleaner.
But the twins will be making way for a 34ADM Weber off an XE & I built this combo to tow & I don't think that the twin's will be suitable for towing, so the Falcon two barrel gets the nod.
I'm building an old school poptop camper it only weighs 720kgs & weather permits the HD will be the occasional tow vehicle.Good stuff. I always liked the often maligned HD. Why are you towing with the old girl though?
