My totally original VC SL commodore, 1980, 3.3lt trimatic, 170,000kms & in amazing condition. Hope everyone likes. Has all original fixtures, stickers, inside & out the car looks close to new. Bought it from a Brock collector in Newcastle NSW. I have been considering selling it to buy my dream HSV but for now the car gets plenty of attention for all the right reasons. Havent seen another VC like this in a while now. I'm getting quite reluctant to take her out these days, she lives a pampered life. :king:

looks good, very tidy & original
but why do people stick whitewalls on Commodores ? Completely wrong era....

As if Mine suits the white walls and everyone knows it, I think they look good Just need the chrome center caps. :) Looks good mate, just needs to be lowered ;)

Thanks guys. Personal preference on the white walls. I like them, car looked plain beforehand, gave it something extra. Yeah, lowering is an option but I'm worried about upsetting the originality.

why Don't you go to a wrecker buy a pair of strut towers and put a pair of springs in them, just need to put your rotors on them and put them in, keep your stock ones aside in the shed and put some lowered springs in the rear which isn't hard. That way you have the option of having them looking stock or having it lowered. and you won't need to do major work to change them around.

Thanks guys, unsure what to do with it at this stage. Currently locked away in storage. Hunting for a set of black Simmons though.
