My vc commodore!

Hi Guys
I am Travis I have another thread about my ve calais..
Im not too keen learning to drive in a ve calais with new 20s! So i picked this up today. I am going to drive it for a few months then start some big mods!

Car: 1980 VC L 70.000ks!!!!!! Log books

Gearbox: 3 speed auto.

Wheels: 20 inch G8's

Interior: Standard but looks like show room!

Mods so far: Lovells suspension , Pedders shocks , All nolathane rubbers , Sony cd , Pioneer speakers , 20 inch g8s , Sports exchaust

Future Mods: Injected 5.0L , Brock kit , Brock stickers , Tint , Rego next week. And tonnes more!! I want to paint the g8s cause they have a little gutter rash i was thinking satin black with gloss silver face ?

Any opinions comments ideas welcome

should be a good project car, nice & straight
have to admit though, I don't like large diameter wheels on first gen Commodores,, they look wrong. I'd be swapping them for 16's or 17's with a bit of dish/offset

make sure you add a brake upgrade when the V8 goes in. Rear discs are mandatory and the standard front brakes aren't much chop.

Yeah each to his own on the wheels.. I like them but there going black. But i would like some b45's!!

Yeah it needs a disc brake rear end.

Just to confirm i don't need engineering for a injected 5.0L ?

nope,you need the brakes/suspension/pollution gear off the same model car the gear come from though.

I wouldn't say poor it has lower ks then my ve! The vc is mint!
