Thanks :) Wouldn't drop a 5ltr in it, want to keep this car old. Kind of leaning towards a worked 202 or just a 308, the worked 202 just to be a bit different but we will see..

Bought a new motor for the car recently. Not a 308 however it's a worked red 202, Yella terra head, mild cam and i am sure lots of other goodies. Was in a HQ ute before this guy who was building it had put a lot of money into it but ran out of time to completely finish the car. Just got to get a new carby and extractors and she is good to go.

Good mate, not much as changed as of yet, bought a 350 holley for the new motor and about to get some extractors, motor should be in the car within a few weeks just waiting for a mate to get back from the mines.

Nice clean example of a low spec VH, good to see you plan on sticking with the modded six rather than just go with a injected V8 like every second first gen Commy.

its funny u mention that! i got to regular hotrod, custom, street car shows around brissy, sunny and gold coasts and have only ever seen 2 with an inj5.0L ...... thats including pwrcruz too!

Im not too sure whats more common:
    efiv8's in first gens commos
    or
late model holden commodores with CHEV badges???

Thanks mate, got them from Rare Spares, cost $70 for the front and rear, tried fitting them myself but it's a bitch and for $30 figured it would be easier to have it done professionally.
