1984 VK Commodore 3.3L 6 Cylinder Auto Lowered springs 2.5 Inch Exhaust Fresh Paint Job Future -New or Reupholstered Seats in Cream colour, not sure what I can get my hands on for a good price, hoping for around the $400-800 mark if possible, unless I get my hands on anything cheaper. -New SAAS Steering Wheel -New dash in Black- trying to get rid of all the Brown in the interior and to get rid of the crack next to the Head unit. -Re-wire the Head unit to a live ignition wire
Also I forgot to add, this project will be for me to drive on my P's July next year, so it has to stay a 6cylinder for the time being. I'm also looking for a set of wheels that will suit the VK, considering the calais international 17's. Please throw me your opinions and ideas for what I should do for the interior and wheels. Thanks
looks good man did you just purchase it? looks like jonnos old vk there's a forum on here about it somewhere.. can i convince you to get ssvs by any chance lol look good on every car do you plan on taking it on cruises?
Hey man, yeah I bought it from Jonno a few weeks ago, good bloke! I've been looking at SSV's and photo shopping them onto the car and I think they look pretty good, I'll put up a photo with SSV's and Calais' photoshopped onto it tonight. As for cruises, I might eventually in July next year when I get my P's.
Yeah, I love the SSV's but Im also thinking I want to try keep it neat and original with interceptors. Not too sure for the moment... Lots of interior work to get done first, anyone have ideas on what to do for the seats, have them possibly re trimmed if I can find a cheap trimmer or try hunt down a new set of seats?
Just chuck a brown Velour Calais trim in it so it matches the dash plastics (saves color changing) Calais seats are Alot more comfortable than berlina and sl seats as they have different foam/padding in them and still can look standed
That does sound good actually, next mission is to hunt down those seats though, which could be quite difficult
