This is an old pic but it gives ya an idea (^_^) I just returned to Oz after spending 5 years in the UK and it wasn't in the best shape, an inch coat of dust, some surface rust and it wasn't running :(
So I thought Fark it, I got my dad to tow it out from under their house with his 4x4 and we took a look at it, all it took was a new battery, some ethanol unleaded and 10 tries and it now runs sweet as LOL! A good Holden never dies I say :yeah:
So now I'm going over all the parts I have to fix up for roadworthy & rego and should hopefully get it back on the street soon :D :D

    Pics:
1: Older pic before I left
2-6: Fixing the engine and getting it started

    Nice old VK Mate!!
Those EFI Motors are really good had one myself!
Very clean and smooth running for their age if well maintained/serviced!

Thanks :D I wanna strip it back and paint it like an SS blue maybe, get some new low profile wheels and funk it up a little bit or if in the very rare case I can find a set of original wheels in excellent condition I might go that road but i'm not hopeful lol Also eventually I wanna stick a 308 in it and a Group 3 body kit :D

Just got her cleaned up today :D I also found out a major power prob I was having, Some of the Vacuum hoses in the engine bay were disconnected DUH! goes like stink now :D

1- All cleaned up and ready to roll.
2- View into the drivers seat, Just installed the 'Southern Cross' seat covers and mats, $30 from Supercheap ya can't go wrong, They dont feel the same as real woolskin tho lol. As ya might see as well there are custom made speaker boxes everywhere in this car, There are 2 in the front dash at the ends, Space for another 2 below on each side, and space for another 2 in the doors. All together there are 14 spaces for speakers in this car, One day I might actually be able to run them all, But for now I only have 1x 200watt Sony Xplode's in each side.
3- View into the drivers side from the back seat.
4- Custom Calais insignia and speaker boxes on the back shelf, 2x3way200watt kenwood speakers are lodged in there.
5- Same shot with the headrests back in.
    6- The electronic dash
7- The boot with the 2x600watt Technics 12inch (30cm) Subwoofers and 800watt Boss Amp.

I just love those dashes, my nephew used to have a VK Calais 308 with the 4 speed manual, all I remember about it is that it went really well and that starwars dash

    Nice car
