bloody cars i tell ya......smelt some burning coolant when i got home.. must have done it just up the road b4 i got in
i have sprung yet another water leak in middle welsh plug of the 3 on the head cold side... between cylinders 3 and 4
i accidently dropped the welsh plug inside down in the water jacket,,(idiot)
now i looked at my spare head and judging by the layout i dont think it is gonna cause harm if it stays in there.... is this correct. dont think it will stop flow....
now is there an easy way to tap in a new plug... i have tried and tried to tap a new one in and had no luck... hardly no room to swing a hammer i am using a socket extension with a socket on the welsh plug as i have done this b4 on the block wheni replaced a welsh plug but i had room to hit it.
the angle is not good as i have the intake runners in the way.... so this looking like i have 2 take of my intake to achieve this goal or can i use something to assist me in this dilemma...
cheers lads

Intakes runners are off and had a major clean and degrease...
welch plugs replaced and all back together runs sweet.
Much better idle and response with a clean cold side.

smallish update really...

Turbo Injectors are on their way, already got turbo Fuel reg, just sourcing a turbo ECU and should be able to dial up the boost a bit...
anybody know what boost level the NA head gasket pops?? currently on 6psi atm
will it be safe to run 10-12 once i have injectors and ECU installed.
should i wire in a knock sensor for added protection .... where does it bolt 2 on the block to monitor this..

Cheers guys keep u posted
Out

n/a motors arent hit or miss at all. if your engines allready stuffed jaming 6psi into its not going to help, if its in good nick with correct afrs and timing it will be fine, its only a pump.
run a standard nissan head gasket is your best bet around $70-$80 from nissan, or go a cometic but ur wasting your money with your set up and a cometic head gasket.
