Hey! I picked this vp up cheap i am going to fix it up and sell in within a week or two hopefully! Car: 1992 VP S2 Executive 137xxxks!! Engine: Mang V6 Gearbox: T5 Manual Diff: Standard Interior: Standard with tacho dash and old cd.. Wheels: VT Clubsport Body Kit: VP Senator Front Bar , VN Group a Side Skirts , VP Seantor Genuine Wing , VP SS Rear Bar , I Will be picking up a VN Group a Rear Bar & Grill Suspension: Pedders Mods by previous owner: he was a nsw police officer he sold it cause he brought a new car.. he was also a mechanic so the mods were done properly T5 Conversion , Body Kit , Pace maker extractors and mang pipe , Reco worked heads and some other stuff , VR S2 Engine and Box , Wheels , Suspension , worn sports steering wheel.. , Clear blinkers , old cd , etc etc..! Payed for the car yesterday arvo.. Dropped of at our house 2:10 and by 5:30 I : Washed it needed a good one its been out for 1 year.. The pics dont show all the grime.. and dust etc..! Degreassed and hosed the engine and scubbed the bay came out great.! Washed all the door jams and boot Air gunned and vacuumed the full interior Put dash back together Cleaned windows and Amouralled the full interior Brought a buffer to bring the paint up Put new battery in: Stared strait away! after a few months. When it first started it was making a slight grinding and whining noise and sounded loud and weird as #### let it run for a few mins engine light.. Then it stalled then nothing no winding over just ticking and clicking.. and then smoke was pouring and it stunk (still does) of electrical smoke.. STARTER MOTOR! tho it didn't really sound like it but It was the starter motor turning over when it was running! So got the shifter and the engine turned over by hand we thought it seized I was just going to send it to star steel.. :undead: Now it lives on! Now we have to get a stater and fit it and its fine! That's the few hours i put into it! Pretty productive afternoon i think! Tommorow i am going to give it a buff and it should be great.! Interior pics tommorow it was too dark they didn't turn out..
So far me and dad have 3 cars each! So thats 6 cars in a local average size yard.! mine (VS GTS-R Replica) mine (VP Kitted wheels etc) mine (VE Calais V International) dad (2005 BA Wagon) Paid 1200 with 9 months rego!! I found it for him on gumtree dad (Mitsubishi Pajero) awesome of road! Its for sale atm. dad (1998 Falcon ute) Paid $350 its for sale atm

so how many k's it got on the clock? we have rules over here that limit how many cars we own in a year before we need a dealers licence, you guys got anything like that?
It has 137xxxks! Yeah i know but we put them in mums dads name etc.. But there's no limit for un reg cars! I am only 16 but i will eventually get a dealers licence and maybe open up a small car yard or do it as we are now from home.
Was expecting a shittah and a half! But this thing seems to have scrubbed up to a pretty tidy ride! Hopefully you make a penny or two off it....

Hopefully will be better just got to find something worth while getting, everyone wants to much for cars these days., Im amazed at the effort you put into cars, definitely an inspiration for others
Yeah you dont want to get stuck with a lemon.. I know but i sell my cars cheap if you put a dear price on a car it will take ages.. I will be putting $2000ono on it! I seriously wish i had the money to buy this vp, but you pretty much hit the nail i head, brought a car that turned out to be a lemon an now its costing me put rego an everything into only for it to blow a head gasket
Yeah you have to watch ebay and gumtree theres alot of rip offs... Repairable right off's , money oweing , pensioner rego , just to name a few! I have been riped of heaps of times but thats in the car game.. I buy most of my cars when i see them sitting in front or back yards we ask them and get them cheap! But gumtree is a decent site! We picked up a 2005 Ba mk2 wagon tints ice cold air 9 months rego for $1200! But best of luck with your's only if you didnt buy it... I would of sold mine to you cheap! Cheers Travis
