Nah kept it in there just in case a cop asked about it. Even left seat belts too. The next rebuild won't have any of it in there though, it's gonna get serious.

Well the amount of times I've been pulled over and haven't been defected has me surprised. No brake light in rear window (because it broke off, metal bracket snapped), number plate lights weren't working for a good 6 months, no rear wiper (the wiper motor spewed it's guts all through the tailgate), had questionable tires. Funny thing is everytime I get pulled up, the box gets their attention, then once they look in and see the amp and batteries, they kinda forget and start asking questions about it all

I got picked up in my old ute that I did a blow through cabinet in.... Cop looked in, boggled his mind and didn't ask any questions.

Ok now for the damage
In this pic, as you can see, the lock motor is no longer connected. Where my finger is between the metal, its supposed to be joined

Ok in this pic, in the direction my finger is pointing, there is supposed to be a piece of metal going a few centimetres up from my finger to near the window

I've also "almost" lost my rear number plate 3 times (first time screws just fell out, then when I put small bolts in with nylock nuts, they came out too). Now have small bolts with 2 nuts on them AND using stud locker (red thread lock). So far so good

One of my steering wheel screws have also come out while I was driving :/ AND rear vision mirror is needing replacement, moves way too easily
