hi all I recently bought myself this very nice looking vr stato for $1650 with rego bargain, its got a 5ltr v8 in it and duel fuel stock as a rock at the moment.
Future mods:
lip kit
caprice grille
leather interior
sunroof
17's
exhaust
decent sound system
bit of woodgrain
replace a few things cosmetically and whatever else to get it mint.

Look good.

Caprice grill and also put Caprice rims on it and VS Series 2/3 garnish and tail light.

I love VR-VS, they are best look with white colour along with darker tint

Ok guys bit of an update, I have teed up a few parts for my stato eg: caprice grille, grey and beige caprice door trims with woodgrain, aswell well as beige bottom half of dash and complete centre console aswell, dash lid, and woodgrain dash peice with caprice written on it for under dash lid, and a few assorted parts to get it to roadworthy standard, $400 all up for everything (there is heapd of stuff), will upload before and afters once I've got everything, have also decided to have a crack at redoing my roof lining in nicer material, will keep updated as I go...

Did well mate.. Ive got a Vr 94 series 1 5L Stato, paid 1,200 for it with 180,000k. All stock, plus boot spoiler, interior is mint, paint ill be getting touched up ( boot n roof ) due to fade but she s great engine/box wise, just passed her Rwc first time thru ! Im trying to get an original Eurovox tape deck and cd stacker, the last owner updated it, but i want my steering wheel controls working again! Ive got pacemakers, new dizzy,new coil,leads,Chiptorque enhanced ECU. Only doing minor work power wise atm,may consider porting orsuch later.
I was told the 94 Stato should increase price wise as for that year v8 s were an optional extra with low v8 numbers. My car was QLD build, had to pay 60 for vehicle history check, it came with an estimation of its current price as is, at 6,300, and also where it ranks for mileage etc among cars of similar condition. In 94 it sold v8 for $58,000!! Now u can buy a VE ss for 35,000.. I love the stato s !! Big comfy and safe cars, few small updates like roof mount dvd n new suspension and that to me basically gives her newer feel, **** its got everything electric and a drink cooler - stuff a VE !! Lol

Just got mine too paid a bit more than you guys but it's a HSV 215i Model...worth 83,000 when new hahaha, she's a bit rougher than yours but keen to see where this goes and get some ideas for mine too! any updates from the weekend mate ?
