Hi guys been lurking around this site for a while and finally decided to join and hopefully put some input back. This car I got when it was 18 months old and have done alot to it over the years, and is a lot different to when I first got it when I was 18 (35 now!). It started life out as a 3.8 auto panther mica BT-1 and have added the following:

Worked 5 litre and 5 speed (Soon to be auto with 2800 stall and shift kit)
3.4.5 LSD
SS lower skirt kit and foglights
Genuine FR19's
VT brake upgrade
VR Senator Interior
Full house electrics inc Climate Control
L3 cluster with HSV 250km/h speedo
Factory Sunroof
Sound system
And many other genuine add ons

The car has more sentimental value than what its worth but I can't part with it now after having it all this time.

That is soo mint!! I love those rim! What brand and model are they? It sit's really nice too! and could I have a close up shot of the section around the gear boot? Thought those kind's of surrounds (correct me if I'm wrong but I think they only come on the fancy models calais, statesmen, caprice etc etc) and they only come in auto? did you mod it to fit right or?

Nice ride Diceman. Rims suit it perfectly.

The car has more sentimental value than what its worth but I can't part with it now after having it all this time.

While I haven't put the time and effort into mine that you have, we have had them for about the same time.....I got mine in November 98.....so I fully appreciate the sentimental value and not wanting to part with it. My first born came home from hospital in mine.

Is that distance to empty correct ? Coz there is no way I have ever seen that from my 5 litre.

Thanks :) The wheels are genuine Simmons FR19's and regarding the gear surround its a Senator console, it was originally a auto type but I bought a manual HSV insert years ago and had it modified like the factory manuals came with in the Senators. I did have the HSV leather shifter but it was worn out so I peeled it off as it looked tacky.

Mine says around 620km when the tank is full.

I never actually get anywhere near that, but it's nice to know the car is ambitious.
