My VS Commodore 3.8 ecotec v6 engine ticks

My Vs commodore with 198,000kms is ticking (watch the video)
Does anyone know how to fix it?

Once I get to the lifters how do I free it?

Just replace them. It's a big job and you will need inlet manifold gaskets, coolant, sealant and a couple of days if you haven't done it before.
You could possibly free it up but who knows how long it will last for and would hate to go through all that a second time if it sticks again.

Remove the belt first if the noise goes away its not the lifter, you can try some lifter free nulon make if it is the lifter.

Get the inlet manifold gasket kit from Mace they are reuseable.

Hmmmm, listening to it on the computer and not the phone it does sound like it might be the balancer.

Just had a chance to listen on a computer with bigger speakers and to me is sounds like an exhaust leak now ?
Very hard to tell exactly. Do you think the noise is coming from that side or the front of the engine ?
Check if your exhaust manifold bolts are tight or it might need a new gasket.

the noise comes out from the area I film up close
