My vs is not running right

I've been working with my dad in fixing up my vs commodore we've replaced all injectors and coil leads but the car is still running rough when idling It revs then idles for no reason. Then when we start reving up the car it struggles to hit 1500 R.P.M after that I goes fine any ideas the old man is going insane

Try cleaning the maf with something dedicated for maf sensors. It's the sensor in the intake tube near the air filter.

Did I log any codes?
Whack a paperclip in the aldl port in pins 5 & 6, then turn the ignition to reds, and count the lights, first flash is 10s, second flash is 1s.
First code will be 12, 1 flash then 2 flash, then see if any others come up.
