Having only recently repainted ( some of the ute ) ,( therefore the rest is guessing pretty dam good ).
I wouldn't be getting a cheap cover = do more harm than good.
Buy a quality one ( I got one for my CV8 from )

Then get some foam for that side and short term use masking tape to attach foam to cover .
Longer term ( loop and pile velcro )
Might need a trimmer to attach either loop or plie to the cover!
My cover is easy to remove and install = a couple of minutes ( then just tape/attach/remove foam to the cover after/before install/removal of cover to help against impact damage ).

Gave the Ute a good polish over the weekend, pretty happy with how it came up. Could maybe do with a bit more on the back end, but still not bad for an hours job.
Now I’m wondering do I get some HDT headlight covers? Anyone got some? I see them around a bit online on other VSs, and I quite like them, just wonder if they’re a bit done to death.

I quite like them, however I went the newer red/black combo rather than the Red/blue thats been done to death.
It's a bit more subtle and you don't see anywhere near as many around.
