just a quick update, Have replaced all plugs and leads after a slight misfiring problem which has since been fixed (running beautifully now) rear of the car has since been lowered on supposedly 'compressed' Lovells super low springs at the rear. (need to get around to doing the front also which is currently at low height). I also have shortened shocks to suit the rear springs which will be fitted eventually. I am ordering a Lukey 2.5" exhaust later this week along with a dual stainless steel tip..

    Merry Christmas all :)

Another quick update, in the last couple of months I had some work done on the car, at 180k I had a tune up, the engine oil replaced with fully synthetic oil and a new filter, new plugs, new leads, new belt, all new tires and I am having my brake pads replaced and the rotors machined. Also after much anticipation I have finally ordered an exhaust which should hopefully be here within the next week or two (yay) and whilst I'm installing the exhaust new shocks are going in the rear. Car is running smooth as ever and I am very happy with it.. I'm also keen on possibly polishing the calais rims and adding flappers, thoughts?

Exhaust and rear fe2 shocks have been fitted. The exhaust is a mandrel bent cat-back Lukey 2.5" pipe with a single high flow muffler into a stainless steel 3" twin tip, all fitted by Exhaust Dynamics at Somerton Park. Here's a couple more pics (exhaust tip is dirty already!)

Yeah it sounds so much better than stock! Nice and loud with a great tone, pretty similar to a mates lukey exhaust on a vt

Get super low springs with GT Monroe shocks all round. Perfect height and not too low.

+1 on VS-S, Superlows and shortened shocks all around. Shouldn't scrape except on the most brutal of speedbumps

Do NOT get ultras in the back, it looks stupid and you'll be scraping your exhaust.

I've decided to polish up the original calais rims, I've heard they come up real nice! In the meantime I'm rolling on a mates spare 19" SSVs and stockies with white walls on the rear lol

    Love it, Nice find.
And lets just hope the stockies on the back don't cause too much unwanted attention.

    Hey guys, another quick update...

The original calais rims are all polished up to a mirror finish, I reckon they turned out pretty good for a DIY job! obviously a professional would get them even shinier haha

Here's some recent pics anyway, enjoy :)
