Coz 22 yr old plastic.
Could either be the orange tab in the snib. Check that it is all the way in.
Otherwise, pull the door trim and give the mechanism inside the door a liberal dose of CRC / WD40 and work it manually to free it up.
Red and Black my favorite.
Go place to hang out dad
I don't think it's the orange plastic I think it's just gunked up and needs a bit of lubing up as it gets stuck closed as well as not locking and that window is really slow so it could do with a grease up to
The steering wheel shaking usually means a wheel out of balance, get your front wheels balanced before looking any further. Cheapest and easiest way out
Thanks man, Old man said the same thing doesn't help that they're Ve machined wheels so it could be that as they might be sitting on the hub off centre.
The taper on the wheelnuts should center it up and sit in the right position
Its snapped a stud on the rear before not sure if its related to this or not really annoying though but in better news a mate was selling this dirt cheap and couldn't resist cant wait for the weekend.
That should sound alright.
I'll keep an eye out for a vid on Sunday arvo.
Me too. Good score Jarrid. What system do you have on at the moment?
Running Pacey headers to tri-y original cat and a 2.5 Manta catback system, New system is going to be Pacey Headers (which i'll have to change over to the new ones ((Crys intensely)) dual cats hoping there high flow and the rest is dual 2.5 unknown maker will get some high heat paint black or silver and make it look new surprisingly in pretty good nick.
If you are changing from a stupid y piece single cat to a nice twin cat equal length system you will notice a nice difference on that alone.
Are there any difference in the headers? You might not need to switch them (because they are a pain to swap)
My plan was exactly that but realized that I will as the drivers side has a different flange type then im not sure on length but they will have to come out unfortunately
Also checked there site they sell a pair for tri Y and a set that runs dual cats.
Ill have a proper video and write up tomorrow enjoy this for now.
Comparison video I whipped up this morning.
Nice comparison video. New system definately sounds better.
Yeah, to me sounds beefier, not quite as harsh as the old system
What did you use to record the sound??
I want to do the same for mine and post it up. Lol
What revs did you give it?
Separate names with a comma.
