sup this is my vs statesman series 3 50th anniversary edition1998 my pride and joy ive got so much to do to it but ive owned for 2 years now,stacked my series 2 on the freeway ,anyway i got this one go it with pretty low K's , blew the original motor got a transplant and got a rebuild,just inspection and crack test and new gaskets , ive got the interchangeable pulleys im running 9 pound my ten pound belt is very worn so i have to run 9 ,,it still drives like a dream, i wanna go more than 10psi something like 14 with A2A cooler and tune not quite sure on the box to much power for it and the l67 manual tune ,,because i just got my computer for l67 edited to manual , ,there was a bit of dull paint and some cosmetic wear in the body work,must of been a female driver, so i ended up going a full respray but i kept the original color was very unique the amazon mica blue with the 50th year i kept on adding grange stuff and it was pretty much halfway there so i just mocked it up except for the seats ,(got VT senator collusion seats more comfy ) ,the cluster ,,need the 250 hsv one , and flock coated grab handles Ive got the caprice speaker pod they look better i reckon,and the motor needa 185i of 350 215i but im on my p,s and im fine with my l67,,trying to be stealth,,i am currently converting my l67 to t5 Ive gone all bran new cluth and all components spiggot bearing rubber all bolts , with flywheel mirror balanced to match bottom end and reconditioned box, im just doing this in my garage hope it goes all gud..any suggestions on l67 mods ,or please if im doing any thing wrong of if anything looks sh*t tell me,cheers these are a few the pics of it the might be jumbled up
update got the flywheel on mirror balanced by pat at v6 conversions,and installed l67 manual t5 computer and all wiring speed sensor reverse lights<,just waitin on a spigot bush cause i got the wrong one with the clutch,after that cruzin on three pedals,,im doing an air induction upgrade to 4inch stainless pipe with k&n pod,and gettin mixed ratio rocker 1.90 1.95 and lots more goodies to the motor,and some port work on the the m90 with more psi upgrade 15_17psi with a2a cooler,ive just got to tee up a tune before i go a2a,,,,,, as for the interior and exterior i just got a brand new front bar and just got it sprayed looks mint they got the clear perfect and matched the colour sick ,just picked up a car bra for it to to protect from stone chips,,doin quite a few led upgades alover the car and, painting rims and dash cluster surround some window swithches satin black with blue and chrome sparckle except for the machine face,im keepin the yellow centre cap they look sik with yellow painted up brakes,, just picked up a vs caprice rooflining with sunfroof and mirror tint ,,gonna be a c*&t to put in,,,, im lloking for bigger hsv vt vx coulson headrest in melbourne for sale,the ones that go round the top of seat any one that know of em for sale reply to this post ,,,, ordering custom plates to dunno if i should go T5ST8O or L67ST8 or any suggestions [
stuffin round in cars kennel Ive nearly completed my led conversion for dash door trims seats etc i used the led strips but i tucked up away so you cant see the actual led, the window switches are a prick to do soldering in confined spaces loll,,,i ordered 3 gauges for center console air/fuel,water/temp,and boost the going in at an angle facing the driver,didn't wanna go bonnet gauges they can scratch ur paint and you get defected but they look tuff,shatted bout the laws in Vic,oh well,, im redoing parcel shelf to with 6 x 6 half hertz speakers and it going to be re upholstered with black leather or vinyl ,most prob leather,,,donno whether to go black to suit the door trims or cream to suit the seats,putting on all the leather caprice pillar/seat belt surroundings on too ,im picking up a set of bran new vs hsv grange scuff plates extremelly rare to even see there not on every grange costing me 400 but i cant knock it back ,,and they'll look smick when it all done. sunroof install soon gonna be a nite mare
