after about 2 weeks i ordered a chip and CAI and it did as followes-
    0-100 km/h: 9.3 s

    0-10 km/h: 0.6 s
    0-20 km/h: 1.3 s

    Peak: 129 km/h
    0-60 mph: 8.7 s

then i played with the interior and blue leds throughout the dash and controlls
    (ill get photos soon)

i also didnt like how the trans shifted so i got it rebuilt with a transgo stage 2 shift kit with corvette servos and it was AMAZING, chirps first to second and can hold gears its great :)

Funds had to wait a while after that but next was 100cpi high flow cat and this made another massive difference and now my car does as follows

    thanx guys
it had a full service history and i drop everything every 5000km to make sure it'll last and keep it running, kinda cheap insurance.
    just had a spin and...

so there is a def improvement with the stuff from mace :)

also if your running a fairly stock vt i highly recommend a CAI (doesnt have to be expensive just as long as i has a box and pod filter) and a stage 4 chip as bad as it sound but from ebay i am currently running this one till my exhaust and will swap to the mace tuned one.
Holden Commodore VT A V6 STAGE 4 performance chip### | eBay (mine was 70ish but they are on sale atm)
the chip was the first thing i did and i got about 60-150km extra than i think with more poke and then more with the CAI but i still had a stock exhaust as i still do lol very sneaky :p

rip that chip out before it does some damage, the car wont run any worse off with the mace tune without the exhaust done

i cant reccomend some 3.7 or 3.9 gears enough. the 3.7's will be more driver friendly if this is your normal daily but i wouldnt go a 3.45 as there isnt a whole lot of 'gain' i felt in a mates. after he went back and swapped it for a 3.9 it was notably better but a bit thirsty on the highway

ive had the chip in for about 11000km and its fine and nothing is out of normal and i do get better fuel econ and more power, with the mace chip i tried it and there was too much back pressure in the exhaust because its tuned for extractors, high flow cat and 2.5" high flow cat back, soon as these come it will be going in though.

as with the diff gears i have thought about them but i want to keep highway economy, but going with a 3.7 ratio will it raise the revs at 100km/h? but how much does fuel econ suffer for performance?

I think your res at 100 should go form 1800 to 2000ish? from memory (~2200 with 4.11)

Also what do you use to measure these speeds?

ok thanks if some 3.7's come up ill look alot closer :)
and for the speeds i use a gps app on my phone, its called GTx and i have a nokia c6-01 and that does everything for me but i know there is speed view pro or something close to that for android phones and drag racer ect ect just depends on your phone and operating system

oh today the yellow jackets came :) it feels more freely reving and builds revs faster but haven't driven much and the cat back is on the back table :p when the extractors get here it'll be nearly done :D

There is, I'm not too sure, also if you're getting 1000 km to a tank that's absolutely great as is.
Also I've heard and seen people calculate that with 3.9's your car will shift into 3rd when flooring it at about 96km/h or so, so before 100. I'm getting 3.7's because I don't want two shifts before 100

1000km from a tank? I doubt they did that from factory. Also using a phone app isnt a very scientific way to test your car.
