my opinion is that start saving up ,and when the v6 dies then replace it with a v8 or buy a new car that has a v8 in it.

Sell the current car and buy a new one. I got my VT II Berlina wagon with factory LS1 for $4k... kinda hard to argue for an engine swap at that price point.

Bit of an update the wagon will get the rest of the body fitted soon and then it will just be a daily driver
Im just got hold of my mums vr s pack ute and that will be by project cruser

A V8 conversion is a BIG job on these cars, so unless you have spent a lot on suspension and other stuff, it's probably easier and cheaper to sell and buy a factory V8. An L67 on the other hand is pretty simple. That's what I'll be doing to my wagon one day.
