Picked this up recently for a v8 runabout. My first Holden, previously owned several Fords.... :hiding:
It's got 214,000 km but good service history and no mods except a catback. Needed strut top bushes and ball joints for roadworthy (dust boots had split), so I bit the bullet and bought new control arms complete with ball joints and bushes fitted ($220 delivered:spot on, polyurethane radius rod bushes ($80) and new tie rod ends ($32) along with the new strut tops ($75) and fitted them over a weekend. Original GM/Monroe struts were still good so I left them alone, and it feels much better now.
I'll keep the mods mild cause it's just a daily... planning extractors + cats (the factory crushed cat pipes make me want to stab my eyes out), LS6 intake manifold swap, monaro cold air intake/two hole mod and a mafless tune with GTS intake pipe. Not so keen on the OTR intakes, cause cleaning filters is a pain...
Anyway, pics.
