Cheers! It only just get's up mine with no scraps. It's not practable for a daily driver but who cares.
Happy New Year to all you JC folk! Hope you all enjoyed the Xmas break. Small update. Was hoping to get the new cam installed this week. But looks like it'll be next week. Once that's done I'm getting Dave at, "Cylinder Heads Specialists" to do some porting, larger intake values and get the heads bench flow tested. Hoping for a fair gain in torque/horsepower from there.
Been thinking. The original LS2 heads I'm not going to bother modifying now. Going to buy new set of heads. The large ported L98 LS3 head. Then get it port n polished. The cam going in will be matched for it. Can't wait.
I'll throw the details up soon. As well as the best dyno. 1st stage. Get the cam installed. Valve springs tested. Aftermarket push rods installed, then tune. 2nd stage. Buy the L98 heads. Get them port n polished. Install then final tune.
The Clubby was dropped off at Harman Bros Racing last night. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Harman-Brothers-Racing/319348224848813 They tell me they expect to have the cam in and tuned by the end of the week.
Sure. 6L LS2 V8 (305kW model) running a 90mm cable operated Holley throttle body, MAF-less tune, LS1 Delphi ECU, dual VCM value springs, aftermarket pushrods, HPC coated 1 7/8" primary headers, dual 3" Di Filippo Performance Extractors, Walbro 255 fuel pump and a Carbon Fibre VCM OTR intake, so far.
Right now I'm just into n/a. I just love the sound of a sick cam, more than the wine of a supercharger or the spoil of a turbo. I must be a sick man. lol
